Here Lies Everything I Love

Mixed media assemblage

70 x 22 x 11 inches

A funeral without a body. This piece reimagines the concept of a funeral by shifting the focus from the body to the essence of a person—their accumulation of interests, hobbies, collections, and other unique traits. It's about celebrating life through the things that defined an individual, rather than dwelling on physical remains.

This sculpture is meant to evoke strong feelings of discomfort in the viewer, similar to feelings of anxiety. A common feeling associated with change, personified into a large demon-like figure.

Memento Mori

This three piece series represents the uncertainty of life, the beauty in death, and the importance of coming to terms with the fact that death is inevitable through roadkill imagery. Animal gore is often considered morbid and disturbing, but I think it's important to appreciate the complexities that go into all living things as well as understand how the lives of both people and animals can be stripped in an instant.

Alcatraz Island

Graphite on Paper

9 x 12 inches

This drawing reflects my fascination with the resilience and quiet elegance of abandoned structures. Alcatraz, once a fortress of confinement, now stands as a monument to time’s unrelenting hand—its worn surfaces and empty spaces telling stories long after voices have faded.
